Hi. Selling a gently used pac mate 4.1 with qwerty keyboard. Includes two cf storage cards, new charger, and executive products leather carrying case. As far as curretnly installed software, it has windows mobile, jaws, microsoft pocket office, msn messenger, internet explorer, etc. You can also download a daisy book reader, skype, aim, and many other applications. Hi. I'd take $479 including packing, shipping, tracking, and insurance if you are in the continental USA. I'm not sure what the fs trade up policy is but I suppose you could call them and ask.

I know people will want to know this, so does it include a braille display? Also, I must give my opinion of these devices. They consist of seven words: very sluggish, reset daily, waste of money.

I'm using an IPad now because I prefer using mainstream tech when at all possible. I found the pac mate line pretty reliable though and I owned three of them over the years. No Braille display with the one I am seling but I've seen good prices for second hand and refurb displays around the net.

so, how are we or I am supposed to get one? I don't think I have the money for a display not sure yet though.

There are many places you could find a second hand display. I see them for sale all the time on various buy/sell e mail lists etc. It wouldn't be that hard. In the meantime, you could start learning the pac mate via the qwerty keyboard and jaws.
